Claudio Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. Edelmiro Herauso kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ramiro Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Cajon FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Ishmael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Medero. After 28 minutes, Robustiano Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajon FC and the Colangüil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Cajon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Franco to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Fidel Berdaitz in the 29th minute really tested Desiderio Ishmael's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Francisco Chap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Ishmael having to interfere. Robustiano Franco got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Cajon FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Robustiano Franco hit a great ball. Benedicto Jurdan charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Jurdan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Colangüil FC's zone, Cesar Mateus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Estevez came out of the goal and Cesar Mateus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cesar Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Rafael Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Jurdan to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ramiro Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colangüil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Ishmael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 minutes, Osvaldo Huly mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajon FC and the Colangüil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Jurdan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Ishmael having to interfere. Cajon FC's Desiderio Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Medero in the 60th minute of play. Cesar Mateus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Eustaquio Estevez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ramiro Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Edelmiro Herauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cajon FC's Evaristo Sotil couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Colangüil FC.
