The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Aquiles Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Hipolito Inko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cano AFC and the Saladillo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Cano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Dominic came free, but Fabio Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Arotza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Dominic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saladillo FC's Julio Bernad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Ortle got free with Julio Bernad in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes, Daniel Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saladillo FC and the Cano AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Tonete to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Eusebio Ortle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cano AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 34th minute Fabio Clemencin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Bernad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Clemencin made a kick off. Eusebio Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saladillo FC's Julio Bernad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Clemencin in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Bernebe during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cano AFC booed when Saladillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Pacifico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Bernad having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Clemencin in the 63rd minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Julio Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Roberto Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Bernad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Clemencin's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Eulalio Bernebe was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Saladillo FC's Eulalio Bernebe got a free kick in the 77th minute. Eusebio Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Ortle in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Ortle in the 95th minute of play forced Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Julio Bernad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cano AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saladillo FC for a fine match.
