Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Saladillo FC's Aquiles Dominic started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Dominic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Cristofol was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Aquiles Dominic charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Dominic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilberto Valente missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Julio Bernad right hand side. When Genaro Joachim fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huascán's protests and gave Genaro Joachim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Genaro Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Saladillo FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huascán were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnaldo Romo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Romo came free, but Julio Bernad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saladillo FC's Julio Bernad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo FC from getting a goal against them. Huascán's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huascán's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Carlos Ezkerra was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Jayvier during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Saladillo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Julio Bernad, was totally fooled by Huascán's Patricio Otsoko, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Daniel Tonete hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Enrique Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Roberto Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Bernebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Genaro Joachim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo FC's zone, Carlos Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Bernad came out of the goal and Carlos Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huascán's Enrique Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Gipuzkoa in the 96th minute of play.
