Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 8thth minute of the game Fabio Clemencin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huascán's Enrique Cristofol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cano AFC booed when Huascán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Ortle struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Enrique Cristofol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cano AFC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Ezkerra in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Huascán got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cordero. 31 minutes into the match, Cano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Ezkerra came free, but Fabio Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Clemencin in the 33rd minute of the match. Huascán's Enrique Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Huascán from getting a goal against them. Carlos Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fabio Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Clemencin to make the kick off. Eusebio Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Fabio Clemencin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cano AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Clemencin during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Cano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Ezkerras short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Fabio Arotza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Carlos Ezkerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fabio Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Cristo Pacifico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huascán the free kick. In the 75th minute Arnaldo Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cano AFC's zone, Carlos Ezkerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Arotza came out of the goal and Carlos Ezkerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Carlos Ezkerra came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Huascán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Ezkerra couldn't finish the play. Arnaldo Romo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Fabio Arotza made a huge save. After having played for 92 minutes, Eusebio Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Pacifico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Enrique Cristofol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huascán's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
