Francisco Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Chorache in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Garín got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Beti. Marcos Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Batista having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Garín got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Hustaz. David Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Conrado Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Enzo Chorache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Garín's zone, Marcos Admon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Batista came out of the goal and Marcos Admon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Garín booed when Horquilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Luisito Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Chorache was the one to do the kick off. Enzo Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Fagildo having to interfere. Francisco Fagildo made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Felix Llorienzo sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Horquilla AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Abelardo Cordarin hit a great ball. Francisco Fagildo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 62nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eleuterio Ponciano. A collision led to Garín getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Victoriano Beti hit a great ball. David Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Batista having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Enzo Chorache rounded Horquilla AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Francisco Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Chorache in the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Horquilla AFC's goalkeeper Francisco Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Llorienzo. Enzo Chorache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horquilla AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enzo Chorache 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Admon in the 90th minute of play forced Garín's goalkeeper Conrado Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Conrado Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Admon in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Garín eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
