A collision led to Andino getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Armando Hulberto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte's Diego Intxixu got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 19th match minute, Andino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Elija to maneuver through the defense. Almafuerte's Anastasio Frances couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Andino. After a rather tough play, Andino's Tomás Torres got a free kick in the 26th minute. Joel Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Munio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Marciano Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Honorato Santiago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almafuerte and the Andino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Santiago. When Uriel Nabar came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Andino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Nabar couldn't finish the play. Uriel Nabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Generoso Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Munio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Munio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Munio in the 67th minute of play forced Andino's goalkeeper Joel Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Domenec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Generoso Frances made a huge save. 71 minutes into the game, Almafuerte's Oscar Jago nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Saturnin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cirilo Munio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Saturnin having to interfere. With a little luck, Almafuerte's Generoso Frances got control of the ball when Marciano Domenec tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Saturnin came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Almafuerte's Cirilo Munio. But to his dismay, Cirilo Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
