Gabriel Mateus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amancio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Maggolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Balesio came free, but Gabriel Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maggolo AFC's Gabriel Mateus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Pudes in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Florencio Beltza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Balesio in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Maggolo AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Abelardo Ricart hit a great ball. Gabriel Mateus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Pudes in the 24th minute of the match. Ernesto Izel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Maggolo AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gonzalo Rainerio made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Florencio Beltza sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Eloy Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Maggolo AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corpen were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Amancio Pudes made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Amancio Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corpen's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Pudes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Mateus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Amancio Pudes struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gabriel Mateus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corpen. 64 minutes into the match, Maggolo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Pudes came free, but Gabriel Mateus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Roldanillo's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes, Eloy Mundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corpen and the Maggolo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Maggolo AFC booed when Corpen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Basilio Ioritz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Corpen's Gonzalo Rainerio didn't even have to move. Gonzalo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Beltza in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Corpen defense, Artemio Roldanillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gonzalo Rainerio. The Corpen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonzalo Rainerio should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Nemesio Balesio could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Gabriel Mateus however easily saved by the left post. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maggolo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Moises Socorro was slow to take the kick. During this time Corpen's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Eloy Mundo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Maggolo AFC. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Roldanillo in the 89th minute of play forced Corpen's goalkeeper Gonzalo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corpen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
