Freddy Medardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd match minute, Potrerillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Lordi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillos's zone, Freddy Medardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Dabi came out of the goal and Freddy Medardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisco Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Freddy Medardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Dabi was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bajada's Freddy Medardo fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Bajada's Eriberto Urtats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Dabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Lordi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zacarias Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Zacarias Dabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Urtats in the 53rd minute of play. If Freddy Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Enrique Hibai was slow to take the kick. During this time Bajada's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Hibai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zacarias Dabi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Bajada's Enrique Hibai got a free kick in the 64th minute. Potrerillos's Flavio Brais got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Carlos Roldanillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bajada's Francisco Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Roldanillo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Potrerillos getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Carlos Roldanillo hit a great ball. Eriberto Urtats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Dabi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Eriberto Urtats managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bajada's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Urtats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Dabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Dabi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Freddy Medardo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Brais in the 92nd minute of play forced Bajada's goalkeeper Francisco Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Medardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Zacarias Dabi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Gaur charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Gaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 96 minutes into the game, one of Potrerillos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bajada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
