Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arsenio Txurio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tegua's Baldomero Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Txurio in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Romulo Gartzi made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Papo. Vespucio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Rogelio Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Cordarell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Txurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17thth minute of the game Rogelio Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tegua's Baldomero Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Tegua's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Rey came free, but Baldomero Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Lucero struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Desiderio Papo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tegua. Roberto Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Lucero in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Papo saved Vespucio from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Romulo Gartzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Papo having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Ariel Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Lucero in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Papo saved Vespucio from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Tegua's Cleto Atarratze got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Donato Sotil, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rogelio Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Roberto Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Tegua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Lucero couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Gartzi in the 61st minute of play. If Roberto Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Romulo Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Cordara hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Baldomiro Fe charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Fe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th minute, Rogelio Rey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Txurio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato Sotil made a great header on Vespucio's corner, it was just that Tegua's Baldomero Cordarell managed to reach the ball for a save. Baldomero Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Txurio in the 92nd minute of play. Vespucio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
