With 14 minutes on the clock, Anastasio Bonifaco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A hard shot 20 in the game by Romulo Bixintxo from a close distance when the talented Emiliano Quintyn managed to make a qualified save. Leteque's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Bixintxo got free with Emiliano Quintyn in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Romulo Bixintxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Quintyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Leteque's Ricardo Beltxe in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Virreyes FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Leteque getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eliseo Lander hit a great ball. Romulo Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Emiliano Quintyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th play minute Romulo Bixintxo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Quintyn. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Beltxe was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Leteque getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Santo Bernat hit a great ball. If Fidel Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Bixintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Orain got free with Astor Bidari in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Astor Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Beltxe might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Astor Bidari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Beltxe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Ricardo Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ricardo Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virreyes FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Leteque for a fine match.
