In the 23rdth minute of the game Amadeo Jatsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almafuerte's Narciso Perutxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Mirande kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zacarias Chumo. That made the score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Surihuaya's Amadeo Jatsu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Narciso Perutxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benigno Moise's late challenge caught a Almafuerte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Moise helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, Surihuaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Moise to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Celedonio Olando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surihuaya and the Almafuerte players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Surihuaya getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Celedonio Olando hit a great ball. Remigio Mark struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Zacarias Chumo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte. In the 44th minute of the match Bartolo Marquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Chumo skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th match minute, Almafuerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Jatsu was the one to do the kick off. Remigio Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Chumo having to interfere. With a little luck, Almafuerte's Narciso Perutxo got control of the ball when Camilo Benet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zacarias Chumo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Surihuaya getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Benigno Moise hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Surihuaya:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Almafuerte:s goal. The referee gave Almafuerte a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bartolo Marquez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Surihuaya's Zacarias Chumo. 3-1. Camilo Benet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Narciso Perutxo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Surihuaya's Conrado Matei got a free kick in the 94th minute. Camilo Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Surihuaya's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
