Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Garin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Garin. Filiberto Tartalo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Osvaldo Mirande sent off a good shot on target. Nemesio Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Narciso Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Remigio Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Almafuerte's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Mark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Tartalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Remigio Mark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Remigio Mark dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filiberto Tartalo, 1-0. Almafuerte's Narciso Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Guillelmus in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Evangelista in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Perutxo saved Almafuerte from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Ioritz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Evangelista in the 31st minute of play forced Almafuerte's goalkeeper Narciso Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Mirande was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Tartalo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Guillelmus got free with Narciso Perutxo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Erasmo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Osvaldo Mirande came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Almafuerte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Mirande couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Evangelista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Narciso Perutxo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filiberto Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Ioritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte's zone, Nemesio Guillelmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Perutxo came out of the goal and Nemesio Guillelmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galarza's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
