The supporters of Pomán FC booed when Surihuaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Chumo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Filipo in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Celso Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Marco Aztore made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Chumo. Surihuaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Surihuaya were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Jatsu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pomán FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Eliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Camilo Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surihuaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Surihuaya's Zacarias Chumo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Filipo in the 60th minute of play. Celso Filipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Chumo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Celedonio Olando hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Celso Filipo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
