With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Maureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Tienso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Cordairo came free, but Raul Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tienso AFC defense, Florencio Cordairo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Tallia. The Tienso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Tallia should have stopped the shot. After some careless play in the Lonquimay defense, Domingo Fertus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hipolito Maureo. Lino Vincente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Lino Vincente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tienso AFC's zone, Lino Vincente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Tallia came out of the goal and Lino Vincente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Cordairo in the 70th minute of the match. Raul Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Vincente in the 75th minute of play. Lino Vincente might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Tallia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Vincente ran back to his position shaking his head. If Domingo Fertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hipolito Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tienso AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lonquimay.
