Cristian Sandaili kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Gabriel Benvido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Eugenio Eguen made a huge save. After the first half Gómez were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Victor Ponciano made the kick off in the second half.
