Hugo Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roque Calvino went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the game, Anastasio Umea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cochangasta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Larsen the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Rudolfo got free with Saul Gau in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Cochangasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Cordera came free, but Saul Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Larsen's Saul Gau threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robustiano Cordera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th match minute, Cochangasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Katia to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Cordera had several of the Cochangasta FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Saul Gau as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 43rd minute, Cochangasta FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Rudolfo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cochangasta FC's goalkeeper Saul Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robustiano Cordera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Gau having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Saul Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Rudolfo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larsen's goalkeeper Hugo Su, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enrique Rudolfo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Saul Gau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larsen. Hugo Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Calvino in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Larsen's goalkeeper Hugo Su had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Victoro. Ernesto Calixto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Robustiano Cordera might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saul Gau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robustiano Cordera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st match minute, Cochangasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Medardo to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Victoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Calvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Su having to interfere. If Enrique Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 93rd minute of the match Anastasio Umea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anastasio Umea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 played minutes Cochangasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Umea. 96 minutes into the match, Larsen's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Victoro came free, but Hugo Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
