When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Donato Argi sped through Eustolia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonzalo Montrell. In the 7th minute, Raimundo Gudesteo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustolia FC's Gonzalo Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ofelio in the 13th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Prudencio Bertin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Astor Salamon. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Prudencio Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Astor Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gonzalo Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Prudencio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erubiel Ofelio to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Capla's Leo Bakar got a free kick in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Erubiel Ofelio notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Eustolia FC's Gonzalo Montrell. Gonzalo Montrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, one of Capla:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Capla. Prudencio Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Astor Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erubiel Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Bertin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Salamon was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Capla's Simon Selmo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Samuel Ipar, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 95 played minutes Eustolia FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Gartzi. In the 97th minute Erubiel Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Montrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Capla were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Eustolia FC to leave the ground with a draw.
