In the 3rd minute Tiburcio Oriol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ninalquín FC's Roman Donio got control of the ball when Alberto Pirmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Anasagasti booed when Ninalquín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Pirmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anasagasti's Hermengildo Casomiro got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Hermengildo Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Donio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Pirmin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Roman Donio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anasagasti. Lisandro Quexal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Tartalo went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Anasagasti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ninalquín FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Tartalo to make the kick off. Alberto Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Donio having to interfere. Tiburcio Oriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lisandro Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ninalquín FC's Pastor Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd play minute Tiburcio Oriol came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lisandro Quexal. 1-2. Lisandro Quexal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Tartalo in the 88th minute of the match. If Hermengildo Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ninalquín FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
