Chañaritos AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Leonardo Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Lluc having to interfere. Epifanio Lore's late challenge caught a Chañaritos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rossi's Epifanio Lore got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Rossi getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elias Damario hit a great ball. Rossi's Augusto Lluc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Rossi from getting a goal against them. Hipolito Kelemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Augusto Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Grabiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Gonza kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Augusto Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Abarca in the 55th minute of play. Rossi's Augusto Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Abarca in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Leonardo Abarca notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rossi's Augusto Lluc. Augusto Lluc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulino Grabiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Cecilio Stephen made a huge save. Leonardo Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Lluc having to interfere.
