Cayetano Venceslas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Vigil in the 26th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Vigil made a kick off. Tomas Esdrass short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Cayetano Venceslas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 56 minutes, Mateo Chap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lazzarino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Chap was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Esdras had several of the Lazzarino's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Cayetano Venceslas as he didn't even see the shot coming. Delmiro Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Chap, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Saul Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chachapoyas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Domingos Austin hit a great ball. Chachapoyas's Delmiro Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Sanchez in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Baldomiro Hunfredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Chachapoyas were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Lazzarino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ramon Abel took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Octavio Aimar managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Chachapoyas's Ulises Vigil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cayetano Venceslas. That made the score 1-2 after 88 minutes of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chachapoyas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
