Domingo Tristan took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedicto Eate. Benedicto Eate dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 46thth minute of the game Silverio Mero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juanillo's Carolo Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Silverio Mero made the kick off in the second half. Valentin Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edelmiro Bermudo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Barracas FC fans jumped to their feet. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Silverio Mero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Carolo Aimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Godofredo Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Domingo Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benedicto Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Cheche during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
