Haroldo Pancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Timo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albano Lucero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Nestor Celino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Mingo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erubiel Gilabert during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Esquiú FC's Erubiel Gilabert got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Haroldo Pancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. Nestor Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Mingo having to interfere. In the 24th minute Haroldo Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Timo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Esquiú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Rodolfo Lidon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Esquiú FC's Amador Timo didn't even have to move. In the 29th minute, Esquiú FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albano Lucero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amador Timo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Rodolfo Lidon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Timo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Albano Lucero took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Amador Timo to make any attempt to save it. 44 minutes into the match, Esquiú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Lucero came free, but Amador Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Seguí FC's Haroldo Pancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Timo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amador Timo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seguí FC.
