Baldomiro Cresitobalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nahueve FC. After a rather tough play, Hornillos's Cipriano Intxixu got a free kick in the 4th minute. Benito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Cefero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match Eriberto Aurre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Flores skillfully saved the ball. Manuel Furman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Flores having to interfere. In the 19th minute Hipolito Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Manuel Furman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hornillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Furman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the game, Alejo Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahueve FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornillos the free kick. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nahueve FC! Nahueve FC:s Benito Flores showed great skill when he stopped Victor Quintyn:s penalty. If Manuel Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Cefero's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Arturo Rey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Cresitobalo having to interfere. Benito Flores came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Hornillos's Hipolito Cefero. But to his dismay, Hipolito Cefero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Baldomiro Cresitobalo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Rey went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Benito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Furman, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Benito Flores made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Hipolito Cefero sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Nahueve FC's zone, Hipolito Cefero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Flores came out of the goal and Hipolito Cefero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosendo Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the last second Benito Flores throw himself and got hold of the ball when Manuel Furman in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Nahueve FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gabriel Beliran hit a great ball. Hipolito Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Flores having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Tavio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nahueve FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hornillos the free kick. The supporters of Hornillos booed when Nahueve FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nahueve FC's Benito Flores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Nahueve FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Rey in the 91st minute of play forced Hornillos's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cresitobalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arturo Rey came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nahueve FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Rey couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Estebano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
