Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Furman started the match with the kick off. In the 15th minute Alfonso Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Cresitobalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Cefero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Honorato Umea made a huge save. Manuel Furman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Umea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Manuel Furman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Umea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Umea made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hipolito Cefero sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes, Oscar Froila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Facundo FC and the Hornillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Facundo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hornillos:s goal. The referee gave Hornillos a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victor Quintyn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Facundo FC's Honorato Umea. 1-0. After 41 played minutes Facundo FC got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Fresco. In the 42nd minute of the match Victor Quintyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Umea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Otsando to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Otsando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Cresitobalo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute, Alfonso Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hipolito Cefero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Umea having to interfere. Honorato Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Furman in the 62nd minute of the match. Honorato Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Furman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Alfonso Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baldomiro Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Intxixu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Alfonso Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Cresitobalo having to interfere. Manuel Furman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hornillos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
