Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ismael Gaufred started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Samuel Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Gaufred in the 8th minute of the match. Jaime Frutos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Samuel Jerardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cristobal Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Jose Mitxaut sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sarmiento AFC's Cristobal Firman didn't even have to move. Ismael Gaufred scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute of the match Gavino Piarres shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Ismael Gaufred got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Samuel Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carnerito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarmiento AFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Firman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samuel Jerardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristobal Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Jerardo to make the kick off. Sarmiento AFC's Cristobal Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Errapel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Leandro Astudillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Mitxaut was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ismael Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hugo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Frutos got free with Hugo Barbosa in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristobal Firman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Carolo Polentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Firman was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of Sarmiento AFC booed when Carnerito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarmiento AFC's goalkeeper Cristobal Firman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sixto Admon's late challenge caught a Carnerito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sixto Admon helped the player get up and apologised. Sixto Admon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Samuel Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Sarmiento AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
