In the 35th minute Jose Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Aztore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes, Ernesto Mendebal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pericotes AFC and the Tolombón players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Tolombón's Jose Leobardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Aztore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Vladimiro Gaizko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Leobardo made a kick off. Tiburcio Gaizkine scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Aztore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jose Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tolombón's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Leobardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Aztore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Pericotes AFC's Delmar Oskitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Delmar Oskitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pericotes AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Delmar Oskitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pericotes AFC! Pericotes AFC:s Samuel Aztore showed great skill when he stopped Clemente Vimaro:s penalty. Clemente Vimaro managed to, on his own, get straight through Pericotes AFC's defense and in the 86th minute placed the ball to the left of Samuel Aztore. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Jakobe during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isidoro Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pericotes AFC's Samuel Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Leobardo in the 99th minute of play. Tolombón's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
