If Jose Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ibicuy getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leandro Farias hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Jose Leobardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibicuy's goalkeeper Ruperto Tono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Clemente Vimaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruperto Tono. Ibicuy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jose Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tolombón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Ibicuy's Ruperto Tono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Ibicuy from getting a goal against them.

In the 51st match minute, Tolombón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Dominix to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Dominguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Abaurre in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Tolombón got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Dominix. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Franco in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Dominguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ibicuy's Marcelo Franco in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tolombón's goalie prevented a goal. Leandro Farias's late challenge caught a Tolombón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Farias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ibicuy getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leandro Farias hit a great ball. 4-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Jose Leobardo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play Tolombón's Leandro Dominix was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tolombón's Guido Iraido got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Leandro Farias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emiliano Dominguez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tiburcio Gaizkine's late challenge caught a Ibicuy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Gaizkine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Tolombón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Ibicuy's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Gaizkine came free, but Ruperto Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ibicuy booed when Tolombón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Ibicuy's Leandro Farias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
