Rodolfo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bernardino Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Bernardino Sustrai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Roldan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Humberto Iliana notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maravilla's Bernardino Sustrai. Bernardino Sustrai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Maravilla's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Iliana came free, but Bernardino Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
