In the 15th match minute, Moquehuá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Kinsen to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victor Argoitz fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mattaldi's protests and gave Victor Argoitz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Moquehuá booed when Mattaldi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Vidal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Intxixu having to make a save. Mattaldi's David Txilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Markel in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Aurelio Ignatius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Ignatius in the 37th minute of the match. When Vladimiro Markel came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Moquehuá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Markel couldn't finish the play. If Aurelio Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Txilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Moquehuá's Aurelio Ignatius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Txilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Ignatius was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mattaldi's goalkeeper David Txilar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Markel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Gizon during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavio Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Vidal in the 67th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Florentino Rencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vladimiro Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. David Txilar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Salvino succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Flavio Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
