Adrian Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Victorio Ortzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otumpa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Ortzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Emilio Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hernan Guzman fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayauca's protests and gave Hernan Guzman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Hernan Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Bayauca got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Bartoleme. In the 23rd minute, Emilio Su got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Efrain Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Victorio Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Canor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Foro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Adrian Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bayauca booed when Otumpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Nataniel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Emilio Su took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adrian Gonzalez. Adrian Gonzalez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Emilio Su's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adrian Gonzalez was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Alfredo Oliveiro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Emilio Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Gonzalez having to interfere. Teofilo Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Saturnino Canor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Otumpa got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Oliveiro. Bayauca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernan Cilio in the 68th minute. After taking down the ball on Bayauca's corner Fernan Cilio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adrian Gonzalez quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Su in the 69th minute of play forced Otumpa's goalkeeper Adrian Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Su sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacobo Honrio came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bayauca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Honrio couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Otumpa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacobo Honrio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bayauca's Saturnino Canor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Ortzi in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Efrain Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bayauca booed when Otumpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th play minute Jacobo Honrio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adrian Gonzalez. 1-3. The Otumpa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bayauca's performance. The match ended with a win for Bayauca.
