Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tobias Ubarna kicked off to start the match. Ismael Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Estefan having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Albano Castel made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Estefan. Tulumaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Robustiano Lonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tulumaya the free kick. After 7 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Lonzo. In the 10th minute, Tobias Ubarna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Maximino Manni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Su to maneuver through the defense. When Tulumaya's Tobias Ubarna in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salto's goalie prevented a goal. Haroldo Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Ubarna, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Romeo Estefan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Sustrai went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the game, Salto's Albano Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Estefan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Sustrai during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismael Sustrai hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Humberto Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Salto's Maximiliano Laffitte tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Guido Lartaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Castel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Sustrai got free with Romeo Estefan in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael Sustrai in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Estefan saved Tulumaya from getting behind. After 66 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Estefan. Albano Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Romeo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Salto's Albano Castel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Guido Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Maiorga having to interfere. When Tobias Ubarna fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tulumaya's protests and gave Tobias Ubarna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Salto booed when Tulumaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Ubarna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match, Ismael Sustrai got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeo Estefan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Salto's Ismael Sustrai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Estefan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albano Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Romeo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Sustrai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Estefan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Tobias Ubarna took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Maiorga. Haroldo Maiorga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Salto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Salto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
