After a defensive mix-up in Durazno FC's zone, Benigno Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Sasoin came out of the goal and Benigno Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Bruno Lohitzun made a precise shot to the right of Mariano Lobo. Cóndor AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bruno Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mariano Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Lohitzun in the 22nd minute of the match. Mariano Lobo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Aristides Acuña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Lobo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Jesus Hunfredo's late challenge caught a Durazno FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesus Hunfredo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, one of Cóndor AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cóndor AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Benigno Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cóndor AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Sasoin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Shantala might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Sasoin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Lohitzun made a kick off. When Roberto Sengrat fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Durazno FC's protests and gave Roberto Sengrat a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Durazno FC's Roberto Sengrat got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bruno Lohitzun charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Lohitzun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Lohitzun hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Benigno Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Durazno FC's Bruno Lohitzun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mariano Lobo. Mariano Lobo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Aristides Acuña could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Mariano Lobo however easily saved by the left post. In the 86th minute Durazno FC were awarded a corner. Sergio Santio went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 94th minute of the game, Justino Bela landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 94 minutes into the game, Candido Dominic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Durazno FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cóndor AFC the free kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Durazno FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
