The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reynaldo Gorri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Animán FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reynaldo Gorri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Animán FC! Animán FC:s Leon Fraco showed great skill when he stopped Jeronimo Tipi:s penalty. Remigio Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leo Lizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Sugoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Ordono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Eduino during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anjuli getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Laureano Eduino hit a great ball. Anjuli's Filiberto Ordono proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Anjuli from getting a goal against them. Remigio Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Ordono having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Anjuli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remigio Sugoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Anjuli getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Laureano Eduino hit a great ball. When Remigio Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Animán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Sugoi couldn't finish the play. Remigio Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Filiberto Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Tobias Iaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anjuli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Animán FC the free kick. After 44 played minutes Anjuli got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Iaki. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Sugoi got free with Filiberto Ordono in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Animán FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anjuli were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Sugoi to strike the kick off in the second half. Leon Fraco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Lizar in the 53rd minute. Anjuli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Lizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saturnino Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Leon Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Animán FC's Leon Fraco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Animán FC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjuli's goalkeeper Filiberto Ordono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filiberto Ordono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Sugoi in the 82nd minute of the match. Remigio Sugoi took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Ordono. Filiberto Ordono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Leo Lizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Fraco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Clemente Calixto charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Calixto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Animán FC's Clemente Calixto got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
