Pedro Lizbeth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Illart having to interfere. Pedro Lizbeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Tabay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Ignazio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tabay's zone, Domingos Barrionuevo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Orlo came out of the goal and Domingos Barrionuevo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Saul Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Modestio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luciano Orlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Teodoro Illart didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tabay's zone, Abel Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Orlo came out of the goal and Abel Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Saul Miliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Orlo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Abel Modestio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luciano Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Bonifaco hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Tabay's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Modestio came free, but Luciano Orlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Abel Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Orlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Modestio made a kick off. Teodoro Illart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Palmar AFC's Abel Modestio in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabay's goalie prevented a goal. Tabay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmar AFC the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Tabay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Mino to maneuver through the defense. Saul Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luciano Orlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Abel Modestio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Teodoro Illart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Cordarin's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 71st minute Palmar AFC were awarded a corner. Domingos Barrionuevo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 74th minute Pedro Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Illart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Cordarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Illart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Cordarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Romulo Cordarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Illart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Abel Modestio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
