Ivan Liberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Servando having to make a save. In the 8th match minute, Tucunuco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Argider to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Eduino during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Tucunuco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Eduino. If Joel Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Tomás Argider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucunuco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Argider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ivan Liberto struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Sergio Servando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucunuco AFC. Joel Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Isidoro Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Kimetz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Vimaro. Tucunuco AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Joel Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Maties in the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Gavino Lonzo made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Vimaro. Tucunuco AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Maties stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Vimaro having to interfere. The supporters of Añatuya booed when Tucunuco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tomás Argider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Añatuya's Sergio Servando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidoro Vimaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Maties's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Tucunuco AFC's Ciro Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Joel Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Eduino hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Isidoro Vimaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Maties went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Tomás Argider's late challenge caught a Añatuya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Argider helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Argider hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tucunuco AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Añatuya.
