The Marucho AFC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Marucho AFC's Valentin Pirro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto Txaran kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ceferino Santana. That made the score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Edgardo Gutxi charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Gutxi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes González got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Gutxi. Gervasio Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Panpili was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Pirro made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Marucho AFC's Valentin Pirro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gervasio Gaur. That made the score 1-2 after 53 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Abadie during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind González's goalkeeper Gervasio Gaur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valentin Pirro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Gaur was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Pirro in the 85th minute of play forced González's goalkeeper Gervasio Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gervasio Gaur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Domingos Orlondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marucho AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
