Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Romo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Fernan Xabier made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Mikelats. Cañete AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Mauricio Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Eduardo Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cañete AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabinda the free kick. After 11 played minutes Cañete AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Bide. Gabriel Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cañete AFC's Fabian Mikelats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cañete AFC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Timoteo Heli from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Fabian Mikelats's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Cañete AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Everardo Chumo hit a great ball. Omar Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Gabriel Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cañete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Cesaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Omar Romo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cabinda's Mauricio Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Romo in the 39th minute of play. Fabian Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cañete AFC's Fabian Mikelats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cañete AFC from getting a goal against them. Everardo Neto hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Balendin to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Reynaldo Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Cabinda's goalkeeper Mauricio Llope had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Cesaro. If Omar Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Reynaldo Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Cabinda's Edelmiro Cristos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Mikelats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reynaldo Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabian Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Romo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Llope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Romo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cabinda's Mauricio Llope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cabinda from getting a goal against them. Cayetano Tirso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Llope. Cabinda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fernan Xabier hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes Cabinda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cayetano Tirso who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Cañete AFC's Eduardo Bide to fire away a dangerous shot which Mauricio Llope despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cañete AFC's Prudencio Quentin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 92nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mauricio Llope but with some difficulty. When Edelmiro Cristos came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cabinda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Cristos couldn't finish the play. Cabinda were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cañete AFC for a fine match.
