Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Macio's Adan Balendin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelino Geofredo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Ezequiel Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berdier. In the 5th minute, Marcelino Geofredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelino Geofredo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ezequiel Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berdier. After having played for 9 minutes, Silvio Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berdier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Saturnino Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Saturnino Sidoro came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Macio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Sidoro couldn't finish the play. Celso Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ezequiel Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Saturnino Sidoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Erasmo Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match Matias Sol shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ezequiel Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Adan Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Sidoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th minute, Jose Gai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berdier's Erasmo Cilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Sidoro in the 41st minute of play. After 46 minutes, Nereo Elequemedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berdier and the Macio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Berdier got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Elequemedo. If Adan Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Berdier players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Macio were winning 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Geofredo made a kick off. Albano Milian's late challenge caught a Berdier's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albano Milian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Macio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Milian to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Balendin in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Cilio saved Berdier from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Gonsalve in the 62nd minute of play forced Macio's goalkeeper Ezequiel Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Silvio Gonsalve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berdier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvio Gonsalve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adan Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Cilio having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Saturnino Sidoro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Berdier's Erasmo Cilio. Erasmo Cilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 82 played minutes Berdier got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Ganix. The supporters of Berdier booed when Macio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Itzaina didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Silvio Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Geofredo went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The Berdier fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Macio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
