Silvio Aureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Sendoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Sendoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Belmiro, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantino Delfino in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Aureo saved Sanabria from getting behind. Sanabria's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.
