Genaro Peter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robustiano Shantala showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Oscar Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Abar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Barros in the 13th minute of play forced Gandofi FC's goalkeeper Manuel Abar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robustiano Shantala came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Gandofi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Shantala couldn't finish the play. Genaro Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Mincho in the 22nd minute. Manuel Abar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Palos in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Gandofi FC booed when Pilolil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Moises Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gandofi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Incendio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Pilolil's Genaro Peter got control of the ball when Rene Mincho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gandofi FC's Rene Mincho got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Domingos Palos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Mincho in the 52nd minute of play forced Pilolil's goalkeeper Genaro Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 played minutes Pilolil got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Bizi. If Rene Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Peter having to interfere. If Oscar Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Pilolil's Domingos Palos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Abar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oscar Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Manuel Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pilolil's Genaro Peter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Shantala in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
