When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Segundo Manex sped through Pilcaniyeu FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timoteo Perutxo. Segundo Manex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Manexs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Timoteo Perutxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcial Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Timoteo Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patricios FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Segio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Delfino during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Aresti in the 25th minute of play forced Pilcaniyeu FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pilcaniyeu FC's Dalmacio Ospetsu got a free kick in the 26th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Artemio Ayala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilcaniyeu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artemio Ayala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego Burni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Aresti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Patricios FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dalmacio Ospetsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Burni to strike the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Aresti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricios FC's Cosme Delfino got his second yellow card of the match in the 69th minute. The referee ordered Cosme Delfino off the ground. In the 70th minute, Cosme Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Burni struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Abelardo Segio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilcaniyeu FC. With a little luck, Patricios FC's Abelardo Segio got control of the ball when Artemio Ayala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timoteo Perutxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Artemio Ayala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Abelardo Segio made a huge save. Segundo Manex might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timoteo Perutxo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Manex ran back to his position shaking his head. If Marcial Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, Patricios FC's Segundo Manex made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Perutxo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Duarte struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Timoteo Perutxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Patricios FC. Pilcaniyeu FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
