The audience was convinced that Zacarias Raitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Tello was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The supporters of Balbastro booed when Camarones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Balbastro's Ciriaco Errapel made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Urbes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Joaquin Mendiko fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balbastro's protests and gave Joaquin Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Balbastro getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Joaquin Mendiko hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Camarones's Zacarias Raitin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Tello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciriaco Errapel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Astor Guillelme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balbastro and the Camarones players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Camarones.
