Lorenzo Inocente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Joel Llorienzo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Yatai got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ixona. In the 13th minute, one of Yatai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yatai. In the 18th match minute, Yatai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Behe to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Esteban Harkaitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Ilazki skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Henrico during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacobo Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Tilisarao AFC's Genaro Regis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Ilazki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Ixona might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lorenzo Inocente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Ixona ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Yatai's Christian Ilazki got control of the ball when Victoriano Arnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damaso Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Inocente having to interfere. Lucio Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lorenzo Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Damaso Mon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Inocente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Christian Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genaro Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Ilazki having to interfere. Christian Ilazki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Regis in the 58th minute of play. Victoriano Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Ilazki having to interfere. Damaso Mons short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Lorenzo Inocente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Lucio Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yatai's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Inocente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hugo Ixona was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tilisarao AFC booed when Yatai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yatai's zone, Genaro Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Ilazki came out of the goal and Genaro Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Mon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorenzo Inocente having to make a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tilisarao AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yatai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
