Eusebio Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ulises Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Tercero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Lobo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Gonzalo Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonzalo Paublo in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Furtado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Blas Gagriel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tucumán's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Gagriel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celedonio Lobo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ulises Tercero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celedonio Lobo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Tucumán's goalkeeper Ulises Tercero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Grabiel. Leopoldo Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucumán. In the 60th minute, Narciso Laffitte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Telo, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 64th minute Blas Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tucumán's Gonzalo Paublo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonzalo Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Furtado made a huge save. Gonzalo Paublo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gavino Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Jocolí's Leopoldo Furtado got control of the ball when Gonzalo Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match Jocolí got a corner. Tucumán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Manni ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Jocolí's Elias Manni to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulises Tercero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ulises Tercero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Celedonio Lobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucumán's Ulises Tercero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonzalo Paublo in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leopoldo Furtado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Blas Gagriel came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tucumán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Gagriel couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Jocolí's goalkeeper Leopoldo Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Paublo. Celedonio Lobo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Lobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Celedonio Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Paublo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Jocolí's Leopoldo Furtado. Leopoldo Furtado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Tucumán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jocolí throughout the match.
