Ubaldo Benvide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordobita's Roberto Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubaldo Benvide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Benitez, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of Cordobita booed when Abbott AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Artal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Ekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Cordobita's Roberto Ekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abbott AFC's Eduardo Rayman got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Sabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Gonzalez having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Alonzo Iraitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Ilixo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Abbott AFC's Ubaldo Benvide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Benitez in the 84th minute of play. Elias Artal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Roberto Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Benvide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Roberto Ekhi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ubaldo Benvide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato Rosalio hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute, Esteve Ilixo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Abbott AFC's Ubaldo Benvide didn't even have to move. In the 101st minute the ball was on its way in behind Abbott AFC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Benvide, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abbott AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cordobita.
