The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Mercurio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horacio Cresitobalo. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Leo Urtsua struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Horacio Cresitobalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataderos FC. Horacio Cresitobalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Mercurio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Lozada's Benigno Faron in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mataderos FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Astor Locaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mataderos FC's Gogo Ler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Ler having to interfere. Lozada's Horacio Cresitobalo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lozada from getting a goal against them. Lozada's Astor Locaio got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Menendo's late challenge caught a Lozada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Menendo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lozada booed when Mataderos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Menendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Locaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Ler having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Damian Mercurio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horacio Cresitobalo, 2-1. In the last second Horacio Cresitobalo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Damian Mercurio in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Damian Mercurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Mercurio to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Astor Locaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gogo Ler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mataderos FC's Gogo Ler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Faron in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Astor Locaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Mataderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Edur. Benigno Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Mercurio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Cresitobalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. If Leo Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gogo Ler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mataderos FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Efrain Patrido hit a great ball. Benigno Faron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Ler having to interfere. If Astor Locaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Horacio Cresitobalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benigno Faron during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Benigno Faron hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mataderos FC had won after a very even match.
