Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roberto Irrintzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 3 minutes, Gogo Mon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Mon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Eleuterio Gelacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Terciero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Mon, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hoyón FC's zone, Gogo Mon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Terciero came out of the goal and Gogo Mon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hoyón FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Nicasio Micael hit a great ball. Roberto Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Liher didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Gogo Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roman Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Terciero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Mon in the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Independencia's Cecilio Liher got control of the ball when Serafino Laurendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gogo Mon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Terciero having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Gogo Mon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Independencia's Roberto Irrintzi got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Gelacio to make the kick off. After 57 minutes, Flavio Valentine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independencia and the Hoyón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Independencia got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Valentine. After a defensive mix-up in Independencia's zone, Eleuterio Gelacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Liher came out of the goal and Eleuterio Gelacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Barto hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Independencia's Cecilio Liher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Laurendi in the 64th minute of play. Roberto Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Roman Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Hoyón FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Veronica. Eleuterio Gelacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Independencia's Arnaldo Urbes got a free kick in the 78th minute. Roman Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute Roberto Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Hoyón FC's Serafino Laurendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Liher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gogo Mon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Roman Terciero made a huge save. Gogo Mon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roman Terciero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
