Siro Mendebal started the match with the kick off. Cazapán AFC's Mauricio Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Mendebal in the 5th minute of play. If Siro Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Apolo Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Galoer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mauricio Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ricardo Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cazapán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Serafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Lluterio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Mariano Gomesano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazapán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Gomesano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Mendebal scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Guzman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Gomesano got free with Vinicio Lluterio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tala's Apolo Galoer in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cazapán AFC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Cazapán AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aquilino Grabiel hit a great ball. Vinicio Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Gomesano in the 44th minute of the match. Vinicio Lluterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Serafo in the 49th minute. The Cazapán AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tala were winning 0-2.

In the 58th minute of the match, Siro Mendebal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mauricio Guzman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the game, Ricardo Serafo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Vinicio Lluterio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Ricardo Serafo made a precise shot to the right of Vinicio Lluterio. Tala's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Cazapán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Mendebal came free, but Mauricio Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th match minute, Cazapán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tala booed when Cazapán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Mauricio Guzman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tala getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fernan Dantae hit a great ball. Vinicio Lluterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Serafo's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Cazapán AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tala's performance. The match ended with a win for Tala.
