Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cecilio Ekialde started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Alberdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Smith FC's Arnulfo Birjaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Blai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Rafael Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smith FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Cordero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Alberdi getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Santos Salvidor hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Smith FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guillerme to maneuver through the defense. When Cecilio Ekialde came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Alberdi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Ekialde couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Alberdi's zone, Arnulfo Birjaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Blai came out of the goal and Arnulfo Birjaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Rafael Cordero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alberdi's Modesto Blai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnulfo Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Blai having to interfere. Santos Salvidor kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Arnulfo Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Cecilio Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ceferino Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Argi's late challenge caught a Alberdi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Argi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Smith FC's Isaias Argi got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Mederi in the 57th minute of play forced Smith FC's goalkeeper Ceferino Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 played minutes Smith FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Argi. When Evaristo Guillerme was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Smith FC's Evaristo Guillerme got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Rafael Cordero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smith FC and the Alberdi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Cordero hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 65th minute when Cecilio Ekialde elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Alberdi's Danilo Mederi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceferino Urbes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Enzo Heli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Smith FC's Nereo Cerilo got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Arnulfo Birjaio made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Blai. Alberdi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Arnulfo Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
