Mallín's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgard Gagriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Payogasta FC defense, Esteban Ikatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Gagriel. The Payogasta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Gagriel should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Payogasta FC booed when Mallín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Ikatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteban Ikatz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulino Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Esteban Ikatz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Gagriel. Payogasta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esteban Ikatz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Edgard Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Hernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Payogasta FC defense, Paulino Hernandez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Gagriel. The Payogasta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Gagriel should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Hernandez in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Gagriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes in the game, Arsenio Reno fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gogo Irrintzi having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Fernan Iigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mallín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Payogasta FC the free kick. When Venancio Larpe fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mallín's protests and gave Venancio Larpe a yellow card for diving instead. Venancio Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Gilberto Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Hernandez scored 4-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Gagriel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Payogasta FC's Gilberto Lluciano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gogo Irrintzi. Gogo Irrintzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Ted during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Adan Ted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
